Thoughts on flow…

Each day is a journey of doubt, and while the map gives us a certain certainty, it is merely a map under the surface of trust. It is a premature conclusion to our destiny. It’s ok what ever route we take, if we take time. nice. flow and time. When in flow all is timeless. When we stop paddling the canoe and allow the stream to turn the boat around, we can just allow the boat to carry us downstream, over white waters and grand rapids.

To ride the river, we need to know the flow, or at least remove all resistance to flow first, and then we will know…

Here is something that I realized during the recent “Flow…” workshop. We are actually more like the still mountain than the river that flows down it. The mountain holds the river stream which gushes to the surface and in doing so carries the river of life down it’s back over a bed of rock, but over time, the flow of the river cuts into the rock and shapes it’s memory and journey. We know when the river is done, because the sound of the river carries a leaf silently, like a sleeping child, sound asleep to arrive quietly at it’s destination, before it flows apart again…
